Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak Republic (AIA SR) is a voluntary association of the legal persons acting in the field of automotive manufacturing, import, research and development and education. AIA SR´s members are Slovak OEMs, suppliers, universities and car importers. After more than twenty three years of its existence, AIA SR has over 170 member organizations which employ more than 80 000 people. It is the largest association on terms of employment with strong influence on the development of the domestic business environment. To fulfil the vision of ensuring the sustainable competitiveness of the Automotive Industry a strategy has been set up. This strategy is being implemented by wide range of activities, which include positive influence on legislative procedure, regular processing of statistical data, communication with domestic and foreign partners, organization of conferences, workshops, formal and informal meetings and forums. Vision} Using the potential of growth and further improvement of our current membership base, representing interests of Czech logistic community we aim to contribute most to its effective implementation in the economic and social practice of Czech Republic and European Union.

Czech Logistic Association (CLA) was founded in 1993 as a non profit, leisure social organisation focusing on the problems of logistics and its application in economic practice. In 2001, CLA became a full member of European Logistic Association (ELA) based in Brussels and in 2004, a member of European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL) and thus the national certifying body for managers and other professionals in the field of logistics.

The activities of CLA are governed by regulations. Members of CLA may be legal persons or, in some cases individuals active in the field of logistics. Management and executive body of CLA is Presidium which is elected by the Conference members for a period of five years. The main contact point of the CLA is its Secretariat.

The primary mission of the CLA is to provide its members with technical assistance in the solution of logistic problems, to create a platform for a mutual communication with specialists from the areas outside logistics, to distribute information regarding logis­tics and to work with logistic associations and similar organisations in Czech Republic and abroad.

The Hungarian Logistics Association intends to establish relations where our slogan „win-win” is realised. Therefore we offer a wide range of services that can ensure direct and indirect economic and social results for our members. The Association of Hungarian Automotive Component Manufacturers (MAJOSZ) was founded in 1993 as a civil organization for the promotion of Hungarian automotive component manufacturers. At the date of its foundation, MAJOSZ had 22 members. Since then the membership has grown to approximately 300, including about 90 service providers as supporting members.

The primary objective of the Association is the promotion of Hungarian automotive suppliers, with a focus on professional, financial and social aspects, and developing the overall image of the automotive sector in Hungary. MAJOSZ has cooperative relations with about 60 automotive organisations globally. Activities:

ZNS is one of the four youngest European purchasing associations. Its goal is to increase the significance of purchasing and procurement profession in Slovenien companies and to offer a support to its members and others dealing with supply chain management. The association is open to make contacts with similar domestic and international organizations as well as with the academic sphere and business sector.  Currently it has around 200 members. Most of the activities are carried out on voluntary basis. ZNS organizes the following events for its members and other interested parties:

• the yearly purchasing conference in May (organized together with the Planet GV)

• the yearly spring workshop (dedicated to different topical supply chain issues)

• the yearly autumn workshop (giving info about general economic picture and forecasts for pricing of different key commodities and for the forthcoming year)
