Kongres TRANSLOG Connect je přední obchodní summit pro odborníky napříč obory dopravy, logistiky a řízení dodavatelského řetězce z regionu střední a východní Evropy, který se koná každoročně v listopadu v maďarské Budapešti.

Od jeho zahájení v roce 2011 dosáhl počet účastníků více než 500 z více než 30 zemí z regionu i mimo něj.  Blulog and  INTERClean received the 4th CEE Logistics & Supply Chain Excellence Award in 2016

The Events Group handed out the 4th CEE Logistics and Supply Chain Excellence Award in 2016 to recognise and promote outstanding logistics and supply chain management methods and to encourage professionals to constantly raise standards and come up with innovative and flexible solutions, contributing to the development of the rapidly growing CEE region. The award was handed out at the award ceremony at TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2016 in Budapest.


The 4th Central Eastern European Logistics and Supply Chain Excellence Award ceremony together with the cocktail reception was opened by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kummer Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business who announced the winners and handed out the award to Blulog and INTERClean, emphasising that these tried methods will encourage professionals to constantly raise standards and come up with innovative and flexible solutions, to further contribute to the development of the rapidly growing CEE region.

Applications were evaluated by an independent jury, by their level of innovation, transferability, sustainability, cost-effectiveness and customer value-contribution. The projects had to be accomplished in any of the countries in the CEE region in one of the two categories: manufacturers and retailers firstly, and service providers with a customer related project secondly.

Excursion to the Bridgestone plant and warehouse in Tatabánya

Visitors of TRANSLOG 2017 will have the opportunity to get an inside look at the Bridgestone fully automated factory and warehouse in Tatabánya, one day prior to the event, on the 21st of November from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, limited for 50 delegates only and available on a first come first serve complimentary basis.

Bridgestone Tatabanya Manufacturing Ltd. is the most important production facility of the Bridgestone Corporation and it is one of the biggest tyre manufacturers in Hungary which started production in 2006. As strategic partner of the Hungarian Government, the company announced its capacity extension plan in 2013, as part of which it increases its capacity to 7,8 million tyres and number of its employees to 1.000 by the year 2020.

The technology applied by Bridgestone Tatabanya Manufacturing Ltd. has been considered as one of the most modern production technology in Europe. The plant also uses AI based digital solutions in the manufacturing process. The factory currently produces 3,2 million passenger and van tyres annually, in more than 230 different sizes, many of them in summer and winter versions too. The 99,96% of the company’s sales derives from exporting to Europe’s biggest markets such as Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, France as well as to Turkey but the company manufactures and exports products to overseas as well, Mexico, the USA and Japan included.

The Tatabánya plant of Bridgestone manufactures DriveGuard, Potenza, Turanza, Blizzak and Dueler brands of Bridgestone product range, while and Roadhawk, Destination, Firehawk, Winterhawk brands of Firestone product range. The factory cooperates with nearly 750 local and regional suppliers and it aim to become the original equipment supplier or leading car brands. The company holds ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, ISO/TS 16949:2009, OHSAS 18001:2007 qualifications.

TRANSFER: The bus will leave in front of the Corinthia Hotel on 21st of November at 12:00 noon and will return after the visit at approximately 5:00 pm.

 

 

POST-EVENT PROGRAMME | 23rd November 2017

Excursion to the Zwack Unicum distillery and cellar in Budapest

Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the old distillery and cellar of the world famous Hungarian Zwack Unicum - a liqueur distilled from over forty herbs from all over the world.

Furthermore the tour includes a short film about the history of the Zwack family and the distillery and offers a tasting opportunity on tap from one of the 500 casks in the cellar which extend over 2,500 square meters underneath the distillery.

The tour is limited for 30 delegates only and available on a first come first serve complimentary basis on the 23rd of November from 4:30-6:00 pm.

TRANSFER: The bus will leave in front of the Corinthia Hotel on 23rd of November at 4:00 pm and will return after the visit at approximately 6:30 pm.

Excursion to the Dreher Breweries in Budapest

Visitors of TRANSLOG 2017 will also have the opportunity to get an inside look at Dreher Breweries. The 1,5 hours Brewery Tour includes an introduction about the history of beer and Dreher Breweries, a visit of the Museum, the Brew House, part of the fermentation building and the packaging and bottling department of the Brewery and finishes with a beer tasting opportunity.

The tour is limited for 30 delegates only and available on a first come first serve complimentary basis on the 23rd of November from 5:00-6:30 pm.
